Chris Nozet – President
Chris has a B.S. in Business-Marketing from California State University, Chico and spent his entire 18 year career prior to AMS in Sales, primarily in the very competitive Enterprise Computer Software market. Chris started as a Sales Representative, winning numerous sales awards, worked his way up to Sales Manager, managing multiple teams, Sales Director, and V.P. of Sales. While at Kronos Incorporated, Chris led a $25 million Sales and Service Region in the Western U.S. to the highest Sales and Profit achievements in the company, and earned nine consecutive President’s Club Awards in his nine years there.
For the last 3 years, Chris has led AMS through some of the most challenging times in company history. In September of 2006, AMS lost a major customer as a result of their internal restructuring. Since then, annualized revenues have approximately doubled. Chris has proven himself as a top-notch operator as well as a leader of extremely successful sales and marketing efforts.
Michael Lassiter – Vice President of Operations
Michael Lassiter currently serves as Vice President of Operations for AMS. He has held this position for more than 4 years. Michael is responsible for all field operations, which includes over 250 Field Representatives and 19 Field Managers. He also over sees the daily operation of the AMS warehouse. Working directly with American Water Heater Company and the Lowe’s Corporate is one of the more important parts of his job.
His previous job for 11 years was with a major paint company that supplied Lowe’s. The experience and the contacts that he gained during this time have proven to be of extreme value to AMS and AWHC. During the time with this company he spent a tremendous amount of time in the store operations of Lowe’s and has the knowledge needed to lead a field team like AMS.
Michael also works closely with Chris Nozet and other potential customers selling the value of AMS as a partner in helping them obtain their sales goals.
Gordon Wilson – Vice President of Accounting
Gordon Wilson has been in the role of Director of Finance and Accounting for over 4 years. Gordon comes to AMS, Inc. with over 10 years of Accounting & Finance at various technology companies in the Silicon Valley. Prior to joining AMS, Inc. Gordon served as Senior Accounting Analyst at Cable and Wireless America a leading European telecommunications company providing Data Hosting and Internet services. At Cable & Wireless Gordon spearheaded the consolidation of acquired companies and streamlined data processing and reporting for various Accounting and Support Departments. Prior to Cable and Wireless, Gordon was employed as the Accounting Manager by Storageway, Inc a Network Backup and Storage Service Provider which was acquired by Cable & Wireless in 2002. At Storageway, Gordon proved pivotal in supporting the CFO and VP of Finance in all accounting and finance duties including Funding, Leasing, and Board of Directors Reporting. Prior to this, he served in various accounting roles at HMT Technology Corporation and Education Programs Associates.
Gordon holds BA from San Jose State University and currently studying for an MBA from Colorado State University.
Kevin West – Vice President of Client Services
Kevin West started his AMS career in August 1999 in an office of 4 employees. Hired to facilitate the daily AMS office tasks, Kevin used his 16 years of computer knowledge to improve AMS using all facets of technology. Kevin built the first AMS project tracking system, uniformed project instruction creation, the first AMS network, automated field representative PDA reporting, efficient AMS customer reporting, and the list continues to grow. The common goal, improve the customer experience.
Kevin’s experience is not limited to technology. His career with AMS includes in-store training, resets, and plan-o-gram creation. This experience has played a critical role in real customer driven procedures and laid the groundwork for successful AMS customer experience. Kevin currently oversees the Information Technology, Scheduling and Planning, Product Training, and Project Management Departments at AMS.
Kevin has been instrumental in automating many previous manual processes at AMS, and has overseen all major software implementations. Kevin’s role at AMS has been critical in the evolution of AMS as a technology leader in our space.
Mike Lemmons - Vice President of Human Resources
Mike Lemmons joined AMS in early 2009 as Vice President of Human Resources. Mike is the function head for human resources, training, and safety. Mike has 30 years of HR management experience. Most recently, he was VP – HR & Operations Support for Engineous Software Inc. and was responsible for HR, corporate contracts, and various support departments. Prior to Engineous, Mike served as Vice President of Human Resources for another early-stage software company (with several subsidiaries) and served as the Head of Human Resources in five manufacturing facilities with three different large, international corporations.
Mike earned his BS Degree in Business Administration from Barton College and his MBA Degree from Campbell University.
